Scalloway Hotel

The property was in the heart of the city. We didn't have time, so we also would book here again...

deluxe hotel, the stuff where all affable and amicable and the location was incredible on waterfront. we had a nice deluxe double room with a comfy bed. location: the venue was near to the island, lerwick, jarlshof and sumburgh head, and the harbour. moreover, it was 1 km from scalloway castle.

We got a room with a walk-in shower.

The sea view was lovely, but the room cleanliness left much to be desired.

Dog-friendly with good breakfast. Parking can be challenging at peak times.

A Good Stay with Nice Dining Options

Enjoyed a cozy single room with surprising comfort. The onsite dining offered a lovely starter of soup paired with an exquisite amuse-bouche. The main dish missed the mark. For best experiences, ask about daily specials for fresher options.

The unique vibes really stood out! I appreciated the quirky atmosphere and spacious accommodations.

I adored the charming decor with local art and the fine harbor views. The staff were attentive, made moving about the hotel easy despite its quaint, slightly narrow layout.

Narrow hallways could be challenging for mobility.

the breakfast lacked variety.

Really enjoyd our 4 night stay. The room was cozy and comfy with a nice view of the harbour. Breakfast was good too, loved the porridge! The staff were super friendly and always helpful. The bar had a great vibe with locals hangin out, which we found really chill.

The bathroom was kinda cramped, and we wish there was more space in the room for 2 people. We could hear the tv from the room next door sometimes, a bit annoying.

Perfect spot by the sea!

We stayed for 4 nights in a lovely room with a sea view. Super clean and comfy, and the bar was a fun hangout with friendly locals. Dinner was tasty, with fresh local ingredients, can't complain about that. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit stronger in the room.

It was just a prime choice for a short visit in Scalloway with very nice value for money. The room was comfortable, and despite being a bit cramped, the bed was excellent. Be ready for a short drive to find better dining options.

Couples enjoy a unique stay

The food was exquisite! I mean, we had dinner at the hotel every night and it reminded me of we were dining at a five-star restaurant, delicious meals made with fresh local produce. Attracted locals at the bar, reminded me of home.

The cozy ambience of the twin room with a sea view was a highlight, offering fine views across the water that enhanced our stay. The beds were comfortable, with tea and coffee readily available in the room. We dined at the hotel one night and found the food to be enjoyable, although there were few dining options close by. On the downside, there were minor inconveniences, such as limited parking when we arrived, which could be a hassle during busy periods, along with slightly higher prices for the area .

Strongly recommend for a quick break

Comfortable room, good location, with nice amenities like free Wi-Fi and a tv.
